Inspired by the grid of vertical and horizontal black lines of De Stijl artist Piet Mondrian, this apartment lobby is its own abstract grid of teak lines filled in with earthy veneer tones and sophisticated metallics. An untouched waffle slab completes the straight lines, brings in an industrial touch while also softly illuminating the magnificent and luxurious 33 feet high ceiling lobby.
